PLEASE NOTE: For inland states/cities/areas you must program the lunitidal interval for the closest coastal location. We have included some sample locations with approximate intervals or you can find information for your location by researching online. Some companies offer calculations for a fee. You can calculate your own lunitidal information for a more accurate prediction by following the steps below:
Automatic watches generate their power by the subtle movement of your wrist while the watch is being worn.
We recommend that you wear your watch at least 8 hours a day to keep power, or use an automatic watch winder. If you do not generate enough power, your watch may loose time or stop completely. To start your watch again simply move the watch back and forth to generate power and the watch will begin to run.
Screw down crowns are threaded crowns that allow you to securely tighten the crown for the highest water resistance. Often when watches become damaged by water it is due to leaking in the crown area as this is where the stem to adjust the time needs to be pulled outward to disengage the time for adjustment.
You can tell if your watch has a screw down crown if you may see threads visible on the crown piece closest to the watch. Also, if you have a screw down crown you need to unscrew it before time adjustment and the crown will not return to its original position if you do not screw the crown back down to tighten. (check enclosed instructions with your watch)
If your watch is equipped with a screw down crown, it enables your watch to remain water resistant (in accordance with standards set by The Federal Trade Commission) to a depth of 330ft (10ATM). To Set:

On the back of your watch strap, locate the spring button shown above. The spring button allows you to compress the spring pin that holds your band in place. When the spring pin is shortened, the pin length decreases enough to remove the pin from the pin holes located in the inner portion of the case lugs.

In order to receive the radio signal update, there must be no interference that may cause a weak or loss of signal such as radio waves and electronic interference caused by household appliances. The update signal is typically received by the watch around midnight each night. We recommend if you watch is having trouble receiving the signal, you put the watch in a windowsill overnight for optimum reception.
In case your watch still does not show the correct time, you can force the watch to re-sync with the US atomic signal.
Hold both the left and right buttons down at the same time; the LCD digital display will go blank. Hold the buttons in for about 5 seconds after the LCD digital display goes blank. Release both buttons and several number 8’s will appear in the display.
Push the left button in to bring the hands exactly to 12 o’clock position. Note: Holding in the left button will move the hands continuously and pushing the button once will move the hands one minute at a time. Stop the hands a few minutes before 12 o’clock, then advance the hands one minute at a time to make sure you have the hands exactly on 12 o’clock.
DO NOT TOUCH THE RIGHT BUTTON. This will interfere with the signal process and you will have to start over.
Once the watch is set to 12 o’clock, it will pick up the atomic signal. For best results, do not put your watch near speakers or electronic equipment as it may interfere with the signal reception. After it receives the radio signal from the atomic clock in Colorado, your watch will reset itself to precise Pacific Time. This usually occurs overnight, but may take up to 72 hours.
